How much will Emberville cost?
Does Emberville have microtransactions?
Will the price increase when the full version releases?
Can I pre-order Emberville?
The short answer
Emberville’s exact price is not announced yet — it will appear on the Steam page when Early Access starts on October 27, 2026. What the official plan does lock in, before any price is shown:
- One-time payment. Buy it once, that is the game.
- No microtransactions. Stated plainly in the Early Access plan.
- The price never goes up. The full release costs the same as Early Access — and Early Access itself may even be discounted.
What that means before October 27
- There is no pre-order. The way to be ready is to wishlist the game — Steam then notifies you at launch.
- Try it free first. The Next Fest demo runs October 19–26. Playing it is the cheapest possible purchase decision.
- Wishlists matter to this developer. Cygnus Cross has publicly celebrated passing 600,000 wishlists — a signal of how large the launch wave will be.
Why the model is worth noting
A paid, one-time-purchase action RPG with no MTX means progression is not selling you anything: gear comes from crafting professions, loot from the Vitromotus, and skill upgrades from play — not a store. For a game promising months of Early Access updates, the no-MTX commitment is one of the more buyer-friendly claims in its genre.
When the number lands
This page is the place to check: the moment the launch price is public, it goes here with a fresh verified date — alongside any launch discount details.
